My name is RJ DiBenedetto. I'm a mixed media artist who is inspired by my life long obsession with comic books, heavy metal and dirty women. If you're looking for happy trees and bowls of fruit, you're in the wrong place. This is not wine and cheese art. This is more like... uh, beer and beef jerky art.

I've been creating art since I was born. Most people can't remember back that far, but I do. For I am special. Not special in a short yellow bus, drool all over yourself sort of way, but in a creatively evolved sort of way.
Don't snicker. It's true.

I don't know how I became this way. I speculate it as being some kind of cosmic anomalous phenomenon. I've read many comic books and this is actually a quite common occurrence. Powers are bestowed on mere mortals from forces beyond human comprehension. This is the situation in my case. I was blessed with the ability to see things that aren't there. Most people call me crazy, but some people call me an artist.
